SPORTS REHAB
SPORTS REHABILITATION
Sport-specific therapy is essential for bridging the gap between injury rehabilitation and peak athletic performance. Every sport places unique demands on the body—whether it’s explosive power in sprinting, rotational control in baseball, or grappling stability in combat sports. A generic rehab approach often falls short of preparing athletes to meet these challenges. Proper assessment is the foundation, involving not only traditional orthopedic testing but also movement analysis and sport-specific performance screens to identify deficits in strength, mobility, stability, and mechanics that directly affect performance and injury risk.
We focus on tailoring interventions to mirror the physical, technical, and psychological demands of the athlete’s sport. This includes targeted strength and conditioning, movement pattern retraining, plyometrics, and neuromuscular control drills that replicate game or match conditions. Injury prevention strategies—such as correcting movement inefficiencies, managing training loads, and reinforcing proper technique—are integrated throughout the process. The final stage involves progressive return-to-sport protocols, ensuring the athlete can handle increasing intensity and complexity before full competition. This approach not only restores function but enhances performance and resilience, reducing the risk of re-injury.
